July Oath Complete

The Berserker icon bearer turned out pretty good. I should have filled the gap on the bloodletter arm holding the banner a little better, but whatever.

I have no idea what this little anime robot is from, but I think it makes a good Devabot for Aleph.

The other two are old I-Kore miniatures. They fit well enough to be respectable proxys for Aleph.

 I was struggling with the cream color of the Aleph armor, as can probably be seen by looking at closeups of these pictures.

Progress and New Arrivals

 Things are getting close to finished, despite my lack of pictures. The Berserker is pretty much done, while the other things I'm coming along well on. Getting the Aleph cream color just right is proving tricky.

In non-Oath news, I sold my Blood Angels army and used a chunk of those proceeds to get into Infinity. So many tiny pewter pieces...

July Oath

July's oath: A Chaos Space Marine (who's banner will be getting freehand for this month's theme), and the start of my Infinity Aleph force; two old I-Kore miniatures and some anime robot or something.

Kurk was trapped. He had followed Kahn for months after his theft of Da Genesis Fing, and thought he had finally located him on a barren planet. It was all just a ploy to lure him away from the rest of his forces and abandon him to die alone, like he had done to Kahn years ago. Rage filled his body more than any WAAAAGH!!! had done before, and he released a scream of anger that brought a grin to Kor'sarro light years away.


Sometimes you just have to express yourself, and that's what I want you to do this month! Add a little freehand artwork to your model this month that isn't part of the models natural design (eg. The triangles on a deffkoptas front don't count). Patterns, emblems, unit markings, or a freehand banner are all examples of what I'm hoping to see.
