I think I'm ready to call this done. It could be worse, but I think it is plenty good. Click images for really big pictures.
Some additions are visible here. I wasn't sure about the sword, since it has the Black Templars iconography, but I thought it needed something to add a little flavor, besides the scroll and little skull shrine.
Also visible here are a few of the worn rusty spots and some dings and chips in the armor.
More dings and chips visible on the sides. The engines were smeared with some black oil paint before getting varnished, to try and give the impression of years of leakage.

Progress
Basecoated with some kind of Vallejo OD Green over the weekend. My salt mask didn't turn out too well, but its nothing that I can't fix. Basecoating something this size definitely made my airbrush worth it.
Masked off a few stripes for simple "camo" and sprayed with a mix of GW Dheneb Stone and Bleached Bone.
Tape peeled off, turned out pretty well. Shiny edges here are some gloss varnish to protect corners while handling.
Started coloring the front bit of armor for a sort of company marking, using GW Blood Red and Vallejo White. Pretty streaky here, but it will get better.
